Description:
A locally-based community group, the Shreveport Opera brings the culture and excitement of this elite musical and theatrical performance to the small stage. Around three annual operas are produced by the company, which has been active for over 60 years, including both classical and contemporary operatic pieces. Located in the heart of downtown, the company's stage is jsut a block from the East Texas Street Bridge, near many shops, restaurants and casinos.
